This position runs on a Pitman Schedule:Shift: 12-hour rotating night shiftWeek 1: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, FridayWeek 2: Saturday, Tuesday, WednesdayHours: 6:00pm - 6:00am This shift includes a $3/hr shift differential. Perks of the Pitman Schedule:Ample Time Off: Employees work approximately 14-15 days/month, providing significant time for rest and recovery.Improved Work-Life Balance: Employees get 3 consecutive days off every other weekend.Extended Vacation Potential: By using only 2 vacation days on a 2-day work week, employees can secure a 7-day break.Built-in OT: 8 hours of OT built into the schedule every other week.Predictable Schedule: As a fixed, repeating 2-week cycle, this schedule is highly predictable and makes it easier for employees to plan their personal lives.Candidates with direct experience will be eligible for a higher pay rate.Requirements:Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes and products to confirm production specifications are met. Maintain positive and effective relationships with employees.  Direct employees to the appropriate manager regarding policy questions.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standard, policies and procedures. Report any problems, potential problems, hazardous situations to managementInspect products and/or shipments to verify conformance to specificationsReview and approve machine set ups, production samples, and/or shipments as necessaryIdentify and report opportunities for continual improvementWhen necessary, attend production meetings and/or confer with other departments to coordinate production activitiesCoordinate or perform training for new employees, contract workers, and/or guests to ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are understood.Ensure the “Quality Policy and Objectives” are understood and achievedMay provide oversight of work conducted by junior-level staff and/or review/audit work for accuracyMay update and maintain shift schedules in the time and attendance system, as well as enter attendance transactions
